Melanated and Poised 💅🏾 Good afternoon loves! I hope all of you are having a fantastic Hump Wednesday 💟 Although society normally views abuse as physical harm to another person, it can unfold in various forms. Aside from Physical Abuse, an individual can also experience Emotional Abuse, Financial Abuse, Psychological Abuse, and Sexual Abuse As Domesti Abuse is not about love, but strictly about power and control over another person. Please take a look at this list and see if any of these actions can be seen within your romantic, sexual, and/or platonic relationships October is an extremely important month, as it’s dedicated towards spreading awareness regarding Domestic Violence and other abusive relationships (emotional, sexual, mental, etc) The trauma experienced from such relationships is intense, and For almost a decade, I’ve been a rescuer. I’ve always tried to “heal” or “support” other people because deep down inside I always resented never being rescued as a child However, this mindset is incredibly toxic. Going through life can be difficult, as challenges may pop up unexpectedly, slightly throwing us off from our paths This is your reminder that although adversities in your life may get in the way.. never give up. Take a break if need be, but NEVER s Good afternoon everyone! Utilize this weekend to recenter back into yourself, and acknowledge what’s going on in your heart 💞✨ 😂😂😂😂 make sure to get some rest guys!
